Interior minister of Maldives Nasser said on “Twitter”, vice president Adib was arrested, accusation is treason. Maldives police confirmed that Adibwas deemed to plan the assassination ofpresident. On sept 28th, president back to Male from SaudiArabia by fly after hajj,explosion happened when went to home by speedboat. Investigatorsbelieved the explosion is caused by mechanical breakdown at first. But laterthey found that that was a assassination. At 24thnoon, Adib was arrested in Maldives international airport.
